The first stage is to ensure the website is fully optimised for the Search Engine community. Specifically this involves reviewing the code behind the website to identify any areas that could be improved to help the Search Engines navigate the site and identify key content. The optimisation stage will also will also work to improve the site for human visitors. Specifically this involves a review of the customer journey, ease of use, and visual elements of the site.
Initially, we would produce a Search Engine Compatibility Report. The reporter will examine the site and provide an analysis on the areas that require work to improve. The report provides a mix of technical and non-technical information to allow third party web designers to carry out the work recommended, although for maximum effect we recommend that we carry out this part too.
Implementation of the report recommendations can be carried out by any web developer with experience in advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (and other technologies where appropriate).
